Artemis 2 Mission – Space Capsule Landed

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the Orion capsule of the Artemis 2 moon mission landed in the Pacific Ocean. Prior to that, communication with the crew had been lost because the capsule had to make the very risky flight through the Earth’s atmosphere.

It first had to be detached from the Integrity module, which remained in space. During landing, temperatures of 2700 °C are reached. The capsule, cooled by space, thus regularly begins to glow due to such a landing. The crew land back into gravity at the bottom of the capsule immediately in free fall, and several parachutes were deployed to slow the descent. In this way, the Artemis 2 crew arrived safely in the Pacific and was received by NASA boats.

The controlled crash of the space capsule looked as if a flying saucer could indeed be seen, but that is true, it was a spacecraft and there were aliens inside. In any case, Christina Koch had already lived outside Earth on the ISS for more than a year before she flew here to the Moon with Artemis.

The crew of Artemis 2 was well and still shivering with exhaustion when they went before the press and announced: ‘Earth is a Crew.’

Everyone is happy, healthy, and safe back and is now gathering their experiences and insights at NASA.
